Mistakes I made while traveling so you don't have to!

❌ Avoid these mistakes when renting a car abroad ❌

Almost everywhere we go, we rent a car because it allows us to go at our pace with our kiddos. Things we have learned along the way:

1. Even if you are picking up a car rental at the airport, they don’t always stay open 24hrs and if your arrival time is at midnight and the car rental company closes at 11 pm you are out of luck.

2. In Italy, did you know you had to have an international drivers license to rent a car? We had no idea, we learned that when we arrived and we were lucky enough to be able to get it online and it only took 1 hour to do it, but had we known we could have been better prepared and not wasted so much time at the car rental counter.

3. There are certain cards that cover a car rental insurance if you use that card to pay for your rental, I have an excellent card that I use for that! Comment “CARD” and I can send you a link!
